Way to go Tom, and way to go Ill. Here in MI. we have open carry privileges but it's easy to get harrassed doing it (just because they can) so I'm doing the class (8 hrs here) on the 24th (yes they do it on Sunday) to get my permit. They would rather have you conceal because of public panic over open carry. And so I will! They know we aren't the ones to worry about. I've been known to CC anyway but will be nice to make it legal.
