Rode my motorcycle from Jacksonville Fl. to Lexington Kentucky 710 miles. I'm now sitting in a motel getting warmed up for the rest of the trip tomorrow. 460 miles North to home. They are calling for a low of 25 tonight here and a high of 35 tomorrow at home. Its not as bad as it sounds though, with the right bike and the proper clothing. After 50 years of riding and 38 motorcycles its still my favorite mode of transportation. My son in Florida would have thought something was wrong if I would have showed up at his wedding last Saturday on anything else.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
