I bought a pickup from a fella a few weeks ago, and he didn't have the title, but gave me the receipt for the title application and told me that to call him the following week and he'd have the title. Following week I called him from my work cell that is out of Illinois even though I live in Indiana, kept going to his voice mail. After about a week I stopped by his house and knocked on the door, and he gave me the title. I told him that I had left him a couple of voice mails, but he said that he doesn't listen to voice mails. Then he asked me if I was calling him from a 630 area code number and I said yes, then he told me that he never answers those because he has cousins in the 630 area code that only call him when they need money. Hey, I have the pickup and the title.
He walked me out to his barn and showed me his Willys Jeep 4x4 pickup with a .030 over 400 small block stroked down to about 378". Thats a nice, stout little pickup. Good for him.
