Stories of school busses getting stuck remind me of: The one time in my four years of riding a school bus (I got on at 06:40 and rode 48 miles to get to a school that was 4 miles away) that the bus got stuck and the boys were ordered by the bus driver to get out and push but that didn't work, so, he sent my friend and I up to the next house which was where the my friend's grandmother lived. We called the school and they called the county. Grandmother fixed up a nice big box of cookies for us to take back to the bus. Much appreciated. When the massive FWD snowplow arrived with the high single wheels , chains all the way around, V plow w/wings, it was my uncle driving it. They pulled us out and then proceeded in front of us all the way to school. Pretty funny, we still laugh about that as we stand in the isles of the local Fleet Farm Store and visit. HA,HA,HA,HA! (;>))
