Several years ago a Guy moved to an Alaskan town accessible only by ferry. His GPS directed him off of the ferry and a hard right into the ocean, where his two cats drowned and all of his earthly goods sank to bottom in his Subaru. He had to be rescued, or he would have joined the cats. In the newspaper article he stated that his GPS directed him to drive down the ramp.
