Jon I am DARN glad that we sold the other semi trucks. We had one two years ago that the air dryer went bad on it. The complete air system was full of water and it froze up. I had it towed to the shop. The tractor set inside for two days and the air tanks still had ice in them. I had to remove both of them and wash/melt the ice out of them with my hot water washer. Flushed all of the air lines and replaced the air dryer.
It seems like the new air dryers are not lasting as long as they used too. If we get much over a year out of them before they quit working we are lucky.
I liked the older ones that had the big spin-on replaceable cartridge on the bottom. I have not been able to find then for several years now.
Hope your repair bill is not too high and you start to feel a little better. The flu in a truck on the road is not fun.
