My Grandfather on my mom's side worked for the Southern Fruit Growers Express which became part of the Southern Railroad in Alexandria VA.He loved the railroad and went many places on it because he had a pass to ride for free.Lots of hard dangerous work back then but a lot more freedoms.If we could merge the good parts of modern days with the best parts of back then it'd be about perfect.
