TxJim: Bibs usually fit in the legs more like carpenter pants or straight leg pants. They do not have tapered legs.
I have trouble with getting bibs to fit. If they fit around my belly they are ten times too big in the waist and legs. It is better now that I have lost 40 lbs. but they still do not fit correctly.
I wear Carhart insulated bibs. I just do not button the side buttons at the waist. That way I can get ones that fit better on my lower body and not be like a big pup tent.
