I have had my CountrySide corn burner for 14 years, and I use it in my small shop. I really like it, mostly burn a mix of wood pellets and corn . I built a grate above the firebox on which I burn cobs, boxes, gaskets, dang near anything that will burn. Today while puttering around in the shop, I got to wondering if I could cook things on that grate, like burgers, brats , hot dogs, etc. Probably have to use foil or a cast iron pan of some kind, but not much space in there... Anybody tried anything like that ?
