This lovely railway viaduct is along the North coast of Aberdeen
The war memorial in Strichen.....
Just some random shots of Aberdeen.....The 'Granite city'
Sunday was a very wet day on the east coast.....
On our way home the weather turned better as we passed Sterling....the castle is on top of the hill, really worth visiting if you get the chance......
Once you hit the west coast of Scotland you can see this big rock island out in the sea....It is the famous Ailsa Craig. Also visible from Northern Ireland and home to only sea birds! The granite from this rock is used to make curling balls for use World-wide
The closer to Northern Ireland we got, the better the weather became....
And you can still see the Ailsa Craig!.......
By the time we got to Cairnryan Port, our ferry terminal to Belfast, the sun was setting.........
By the time we got the ferry at 7.30 pm it was dark.
