One way to help clear up a sticking Valve or maybe debris under a valve is this:
Fill a normal sized oil (squirt) can with clean oil.. Take the air-tap plug out of the Intake with the engine running at about 1/3 to 1/2 throttle, put the tip of the squirt-can in and cover the hole with your finger.. Squirt oil in as FAST as the engine will take it without killing the engine. ( Be SURE NOT to do this inside your Shop.!!) There WILL be Great Billows of Smoke for a while..!! Works wonders... We did this twice a year on our JD "B" tractors and they didn't burn valves (had been a major problem, before the mufflers came off). Try it, you'll LIKE it..!!!! You may want to tell the neighbors, so they don't call the Fire Dept..!!
