i wear a pair of Dunlop "purofort thermo" boots, i do wear little sock covers over my socks ("bama" brand) to keep my feet drier, mine have lasted 4 years so far, and by the looks of it i will get at least another couple of years out of them, they were $200 odd when i bought them, made in Europe somewhere iirc....
regularly wear them in -40 weather (i live on the canadian prairies)... the only issue i have with them is the soles get slippy when cold and you walk onto polished concrete floor...
