I agree rrlund. I'm 49 and have seen some bad winters but this is almost unbearable. Trying to keep the power on, the furnace running, keeping the household running has been brutal. Snow is just piling up out there. Getting to work has been brutal. Highways are a mess, blowing snow, dangerous driving. And they want us to work overtime constantly. I'm about 98% worn out! Not to mention the bills and fuel costs are staggering. I think I might be breaking even going to work every day. I agree about the survival mode. I'm in it too and so are most of my friends. Not trying to thrive but just survive.
