When I was a teen it was my job to install the tire chains when ever there was ice or snow. We shipped milk by can and needed chains on the truck to haul the milk out for the truck from the creamery. We had them on the car in order to get to town as they only went once a week to get few groceries. The roads were not scraped clean back then. I have chains on my garden tractor for plowing snow or the garden in the Spring. They were for a car and I used bolt cutters to shorten them. They were never used when I bought them and I paid $9.00 for them. They're the Weed tire chains with v-bars. Hal
