And we finally got some snow in Eastern Washington! About 5 to 6 inches of nice, wet snow. In fact, I am going to plow the driveway for the first time this season--the tractor is plugged in right now.
We are way behind on moisture. A dry year in 2013, but rain when needed to give decent dryland crops. Hopefully this band of Pacific moisture is just the start of a new pattern.
It has sure been easy, not having to deal with any snow. But we depend on that Winter moisture for much of what we get in any given year. We really need it!
