You can do that here. Well, not exactly. There are places that will pay $18 to start, but you work 12 days on, 1 day off, 12 hour days. It's manual labor, but, it's not extremely hard. It's tedious. The big problem is that you have to find a place to live, and renting a place if you have a family, will be expensive. Figure $800-1000 per month plus utilities for a decent place to live. The hiring process takes about 3 weeks to a month. That's a long time to sit and wait to know if you have a job, while not getting paid. Anyone with a CDL license and some experience will have a much easier time getting a job in the $15-18 range.
