I think it's Norton and Symantec, you're more susceptible to getting something you don't want, because they are so common they get the most attention from hackers.
I have AVG and run their tune-up occasionally. The windows defragmenting program said I was in good shape, then the AVG spent an hour working on it.
Malwarebytes also found a few things. They recommend getting offline and shutting down antivirus before running it. Apparently some antivirus software has bugs in it and hides it from other programs.
