Hi Biggest problem I Found selling used tractors is low ball offers on tractors worth the $10.000 asking price. Had a nice Massey here full re built trans, 6 near new tires, everything worked.Had a real nice 795 Allied loader on.
I kept getting low balled at $5000. The story as,"My Buddy says" you can buy this in the local auction for $5000. Kinda went quiet when I said for $5000 you can buy a wrecked, worn out Massey needing new tires, all the work thats done on this one, they don"t have a near new or any loader fitted, that"s worth $4000 used on it"s own all day long, round here. To get them the same as this would cost $9000 minimum on top so around $14000 total!. In the end I got fed up with this all the time, and parts prices. I quit doing it and just fix for others and farm a bit now. if a guy wants his tractor fixed he just says do it and send the bill. I don"t miss these wasters at all anymore. Regards Robert
