Not very strong. Not as good as a grade 5. Only for rust resistance. For some reason the strength of SS is a common misconception. Even the very experienced shop where I get dozer parts/work put a small SS bolt in a wear strip. Fortunately they told me about it. I checked it as soon as I got home, and sure enough, it was already stretched out of shape just from tightening.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen.
