I've got the same thing going on with my B3000. I've been waiting for the weather to warm up a little to take a look underneath. Mine is a little over a year old with only 275 hrs on it. Make sure you put the trans speed selector in neutral when you get off it with it running. It may creep away on you. I'm thinking its just a matter of a little adjusting on something. I never had any problem with the 7800 I traded in which had the same hydro trans.
