I too have a B1750HST, bought new in 1993.
Upon releasing the hydrostat pedal it will sometimes creep slightly in the direction most recently travelled. A slight touch of the pedal in the opposite direction will stop it for the most part.
That said, it is too much to ask of most hydrostats to expect NO creepage for extended periods of time. I always set the parking brake or put the transmission in neutral if I plan to let it idle for more than a few seconds.
