No, I don't like stupid. I don't really have a problem with change. As far as repairing today's tractors... I haven't gotten into it in any depth because the stuff I run is from 80/90's vintage. What I do deal with... in terms of electronics... I don't find all that difficult once you educate yourself to how it works. That in itself is getting to be nearly impossible because of the poor quality of the reference material they print today... and the unaffordability/availability of the computerised service software... so from that perspective it makes diagnostics difficult... but the general concept of some of the electronic systems I don't have a problem with when they work reliably. The issue I've got with a lot of stuff new... is that... it doesn't work reliably. Refer back to my first sentence.... I don't like stupid... which is what a lot of the emissions crap on modern engines is. Stupid trouble. Give me a mid 90's vintage N14 Celect... I tend to think that's one of the most advanced, reliable big bore engines ever produced and was a marked improvement over what came before it or since.
