Don't know anything about Kaufman, but if I was in the market for a quality trailer I'd look at Behnke (B and B) trailers.

I have a tag a long Behnke dump trailer. Racked up a lot of miles with it in the 9+ years I've owned it and wouldn't consider buying any type of open trailer without looking at what Behnke offers. I looked at a lot of different brands before I bought. None came close to Behnke in quality and attention to detail. PJ was probably the closest, and they weren't even in the same league.
