My husband modified our F-20 throttle linkage & governor so that he can use the original throttle lever up by the steering column (the one used with a one speed governor)... now it is used with the variable speed governor. He will do the same thing with our Regular too.
His dad (and some others guys who know Farmall tractors) still think it's a single speed.
We are also putting some stuff on the Regular that it did not come-with from the factory... but envision that some old farmer may well have added:
Right hand-brake
Rear footbrake
Foot pegs
Grease gun holder
Oil can holder we got from an old, rusted F-20... originally from some piece of horse drawn equipment
The biggest sin... F20 steel wheels - but it is the only ones we could find that were affordable (and we still think she looks sweet... and we just like it like that).
