I think there are more variables, any size plow used but with good results will be better than an improperly used plow, of course figure in moisture, weather and different soils. It would seem to me that no difference would be made relative to furrow size as long as the plow did the right job, they'll all be rough or full of clods to pulverize if a furrow is standing on edge or there's excess moisture, however I'm not much more than a rookie with a plow anyway, just an opinion with a little experience to draw from LOL !
