I was the same way jon, my brother in law was telling me how fast we were going. All this Just so the pizza we bought wouldn't get cold? AT 140 I had pedel left but with Polyglass F78X14 Goodyear wide track tires I had no nerve left. We slowed back down, coasted for what seems like a mile & 2 deer stepped out in the highway I had to brake hard to miss them. If they would have decided to cross a mile or so back up the highway, I wouldn't be here typing this?? Later I put Goodyear Radial tires on & What a improvement to the ride/drive & handle. Owned for 1972 till 1988, was like cutting my right off seeing it go down the road without me. But I wanted a 4WD TRK !!!!! Still miss my 1970 Candy Apple Red Mach 1.....
