Don't be so hot to make those claims. When we move to MN from NJ in 71 I had taken and passed algebra 1 and 2 and biology 1 and 2. When we got here I wound up taking general math as a HS junior and book keeping a senior to meet the 4 year math requirement for MN and general science 1 and 2 for the same reason. That covered fall of 71 to spring of 73. As a senior I also was given the same history book that I'd had in 8th grade in NJ. At the time MN was ranked good on HS education. The valedictorian of my class won an appointment to West Point and flunked out academically in the first semester. Pretty sad when you try to compare schools of today.
