I didn't realize people could be so picky. A while ago a guy tries to give away a free tractor and is bombarded by questions on it's condition. It's FREE! If it was worth much it wouldn't be free. Pick it up and take it to the scrap yard and make some money. This guys wife buys him a tractor and all people want to do is complain about the tires. It wouldn't be my choice for tires but I'd run them till they're worn down and replace them with what I wanted. If they bother that much take them off and sell them and use the money to buy others.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
