Winter came hard and early last year, some neighbors barely had seed in the ground when it froze. And it pretty much stayed frozen. Mine is a little spotty in the low spots, and looks thin. It looked similar last year and still did 85bu/A. I am planting after shelling corn so a warm fall really helps.
