Yep but they're the power company so they don't have to follow the law and no one is going to do anything about it. They own most of the politicians and a few of the Judges, heck one place I lived in one of the county judges was married to a power company executive. Funny part about that one is the power would go off in the court house a night or at least drop a phase so he wouldn't have air conditioning when he came in a 4AM in the morning. He'd rant and rave at me about it, I'd mention that the power went off and if it was such a big deal he should haul WPS and their executive into court and throw the book at them, that'd sometimes calm him down, if it didn't I'd suggested he contact the county board and get them to add 24/7 maintenance coverage for the courthouse, it'd only cost them about $250,000/ year or add about 25% to the maintenance department budget, the board would be glad to move money from the court's budget into the maintenance budget.
