This is a dumb question: does it tear up the lawn more turning left compared to turning right? I suspect the three rib tire is doing 3/4 or more of the work in turns, and the left tire would have less leverage when turning left.
As others have said, replace the left tire with a smoother implement tire similar to the right tire, and use the turning brakes more. I do suspect that two tri rib tires would also tear up less turf than the mis-matched set does now.
You are my hero if you were able to convince your wife to allow you to spread manure on the front yard. I think I'd put those powers of persuation to better uses though...
