A cousin had a 2840, 18.4x34 tires. He pulled 4x16. Just drop a gear or two in sod. It was a nice tractor when it was not in the shop. I think the 4030 was available at the same time. I'll never know why he got the 2840 instead of the 4030. Same power, (maybe the same engine) same tires. He traded it for a 4240. He retired years ago, but someone else will have to sell the 4240. He can't bring himself to part with it!
