You do EXACTLY what I do when I sell a freezer beef to somebody. When a potential first time customer starts in with the flowery "I want to buy local" so I know where it comes from stuff, and starts deriding the meat in the grocery store by saying it's stuffed full of hormones and antibiotics and that whole line,I stop them in their tracks. I explain implants to them, tell them how expensive antibiotics are and tell them the only advantage I'm offering is price. We're cutting out the middle man, that's all. They come back because they can cut the GMO corn fed steaks with a fork, not because I tried to convince them that everybody else's beef had something wrong with it. I have too much integrity and my name and reputation in this community mean way too much to me to look somebody in the eye any flat out mislead them. I sleep quite well at night. I guess I'm just asking too much, thinking that everybody would put integrity and truth ahead of profit.
