I drive through the soo from Illinois all the time on my way to Timmins On. There is a settlement of Amish at Thessalon, On. I go to Cochrane, On northeast of Timmins. There are cattle and hay farms north of Cochrane on Detour Lake Rd.Was in grocery store in Cochrane and seen lots of hay for sale on bulliten board. One year I drove from Fort Erie to Cochrane just north of New Liskerd there was a big valley full of dairy farms looked just like Clark co. Wis. in the 1970's we always swim in Lke Michigan 20miles west of Mac bridge off Hwy2 on our way back home to Illinois
