What you have should work for 5 acres but neither are what you would call a good loader tractor. He, in MN, in the "Heart of the Lakes" smaller 40-120 HP tractors from the 50's and 60's are real reasonable and many can be had for under 5K. You match your tractor to your implements. I have a round baler that requires 70HP. I'd be looking at something like a 656, 560 or 460 IH. JD 3020. Case 30 or 70 series. Ford 4000 or 5000 would work good but they are spendy. Here because of dealers anytiing supported by AGCO is a no go in my book.
