Our power company (that's located in another country) just increased the bill by almost double. Our usual bill was $140 - $150 this time of year but last bill was almost $270. Something about 'dependable and reliable service' (if I understood it right). This increase follows the last increase for "future loss of income due to increased use of renewable energy"!! I say keep making your own power from renewable. I was going to invest $1000 last year into it however 2 heart attacks put me much behind the $ ball and still recovering that end. Maybe next year.
