I drive most of the time- she has a tendency to take a nap, regardless of time of day. I have a car (Buick), she has a pickup. I just prefer driving a car to a pickup- always have. But I usually drive, regardless of which vehicle.
As far as navigating, I got a talking Garmin the other day- will never take a trip in strange country without it. Wife is a decent navigator when she wants to be, but tends to lose focus and we end up back-tracking.
