"Bring your pick-up truck" brings back an old memory from 1968 - the year I bought my first brand new baby blue GMC pick-up. My father-in-law asked to borrow it the next weekend. He said he needed to haul a few things. Turns out, one of those "few things" was a few loads of not-ready-for-prime-time cow manure for his garden.
He washed it out the best he could, but it took a few weeks for that smell to go away. (we won"t talke about the small 5 ft. scratch in the paint on the side where he got a tad too close to the farmer"s gate!
I guess there was a little compensation, though. The smell left my truck long before the smell left his wife"s little garden. That garden was right next to her back door of the house. Green cow manure is not the perfume a city woman likes to have in her flower garden!
