The "401" in front means it was made in 1941. "4th decade and 1st year." Twins were made from about 1936 to 1955. I've got over a dozen of them laying around in NY. I also have one Viking Twin and several Monarchs and Walshes. As to value? I still see them show up at local auction now and then. Last one I saw was last summer, non running and it sold for $150. Kind of sad. They were well built and large machines and I think should be more valuable.
I have many factory manuals and catalogs if you want more info. Note I've seen them on Ebay for over $1000 - but don't recall ever seeing one actually sell.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
