i removed the strips off my van when i first got it last yr and the only thing i could get to really work was acetone. use outside, it ate every kind of glove i tried, use a soft cloth because paper towels will scratch the surrounding areas. i had to use a lot of rubbing compound elbow grease and wax to get the scratches out.
