We're fortunate to have a local guy that buys dairy culls and sells hamburg at $2.00 @ lbs. It's extremely lean and we mix it 50/50 with cheap hamburg from the discount grocery. You end up with something close to the ground round we used to serve at our family restaurant. But steak, we used to eat a lot of it. Now it's 4-5 times a year and usually London Broil on sale that needs marinating for 3 days. Goes a long way though. That or those flank steaks you leave on the grill for no more than 2 minutes a side or they are leather.
