I used to be a bit of a nerd, helping relatives and neighbors with computers.
Worked with everything from the old Atari 400 and a very few Apples, I still remember some dos commands, through 98, XP, vista, 7. Several tablets now.
Somehow all my friends and relatives have avoided Windows 8 so far. Was really close this winter, relative had one picked out at Walmart, then the help says do you really want W8, we have a few older models with 7 in back at discount?
So he got a W7 machine yet.
Anyhow, I have yet to actually sit in front of a w8 machine and attempt to do anything.
I'm not complaining about that! It is Microsofts attempt to be everything to everyone, and work with a tablet or phone screen. But then it loses so much of the business usefulness of a mouse.they took too big of a swing at it......
