Hey Red, show us your irrigation system. For me, irrigation on the front range meant shoveling cuts and setting tubes. Ditch water was allocated as you said but when unavailable we had to run the pump. We grew sugar beets, corn , onions, pinto beans, and alfalfa northeast of Greeley. I'd bet money 90 percent of this discussion board wouldn't know what a 2 inch siphon tube was, let alone start it! Ever have a nice set of water running 40 rows only to come back 2 hours later and find 18 rows stopped and the ditch broke out because of half dead carp!
