I understand about the drive. It is right at 100 miles to the Audie Murphy for me and even farther to Temple. So many of the clinics are at capacity and not even accepting any more patients, so I was told. The New Braunsfels citizen based clinic (which would be the closest for me, about 50 miles or so) , has about a three month waiting time to get an appointment so I won't go there. I have known several people in my family who absolutely would not use the Va, but they had other options, which I don't. I will use the VA as long as I can. I have heard similar stories such as your Father's. It is a shame the extent they will go to. I don't know how some people can go to sleep at night. I hope you can get in at Waco, and it turns out to be better. Good luck. On a side note, my Grandfather (WW1 vet) used Temple until he passed away, and evidently it was a great place back in the 50's and 60's. My dad (WW2) wouldn't go anywhere but Kerrville, and absolutely hated the Audie Murphy when he had to go there.

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
