I"m certainly not very knowledgeable on old tractors like many on here but I ran across this tractor at a local fair in Lincolnshire, UK while on vacation last week. I"ve never seen anything like it and wondered if anyone else here had.
A local fellow explained that the Doe Company would take two Fordsons, remove the front axles, add a steering mechanism between the two, and attach them. The last picture shows where the steering turntable on the rear tractor joins to the front tractor. Doubled your horsepower and instant four wheel drive. He did mention that they had problems with the rear ends due to the extra power. Said they were popular at one time.
