Independence Day Parade in town today. I drove my Farmall H while my 10 year old Great Nephew followed me on the Ferguson TO-25. He did great! Kept he straight and never panicked-even when a kid ran out in front of him for candy.
He's taken to that tractor like a duck to water. Sure, he gets a little nervous at times, but that's only because I'm making sure he has a healthy respect for the dangers like rollovers and brake failure. But he knows 4 ways to stop the tractor and in what order to try them.
After the parade was over and we got off the seat, a parade official walked up and handed him a 3rd place ribbon.
