No, it didn't break IH. If the 560 cause the failure how in the heck did it take from 1963 to 1986? If the 560 was going to cause the collapse of IH maybe 3 years, not 23. A lot of things cause IH to fail. Failing farm economy, not enough profit margin even though the earned far more than the closest competitor. JD's net profit margin as about 5%. IH's was about 2%. Company like that can't stay in business at 2%. Their failure to get rid of the TA earlier, lot of actors, but the 560 wasn't at fault.
