dan's got the right idea, these thin metal newer trucks are designed to be pampered and driven to the office,the designers lighten the truck bodies up to help improve gas milage and make them cheaper to produce, they just cant figure out that some of us actually still use a truck as a truck, not a neighborhood status symbol in the suburbs, when a farmer or rancher buys one and intends to actually use it for a truck, a flatbed is the only way to go, can even save money and order a chassis cab and go flatbed from new, that way you dont have the agravation of watching the nice buggy your still making payments on rust thru right in front of you , my ford with a utility body is now starting to need some rust thru attention, it was new....in 1970
