Back many moons ago when the John Deere dealers put on John Deere Days entertainment at the dealers,usually on Saturdays, that was one of the highlites of the year fur me. I remember they usually had a story of a stubborn farmer that didn't want to get the latest tractor or modern conveniences for the farm or home. I think he was of Swedish persuasion. Does any one remember the stories and who the man in question wuz, and who played the part? I don't seem to know enough info to google it.
