Social media almost got me robbed one night. I was to have cancer surgery and someone put it on facebook. Lucky for me my daughter and grand kids spent the night at my house and about 11 PM somebody came in my lane which is about 1/4 mile long and jumped out and went around to the back door. My girl went to the front door and the guy's girlfriend yelled "come back, somebody's here" he came around and asked if I was home, he wanted to see me. It was of the local thugs, last I knew he was in prison for burglary. I told her he really didn't want to see me, because the last time he saw me he was trying to steal something and instead of calling the cops, I beat the snot out of him and sent him down the road. I told the sheriff later and he laughed and said I probably taught him a better lesson than the law could. It is well known that i have several guns in the house and usually one on my person. I also don't do social media. It causes a lot of problems. I had a neighbor killed in an accident and it was on facebook before all of his kids knew about it.
